About Homeopathy Direct

Homeopathy Direct is run by Maggie Dixon, the senior practitioner, in association with Amanda Matthews who are experienced Homeopaths and registered with The Society of Homeopaths.

Homeopathy Direct is committed to offering affordable services ranging from individual consultations to courses and drop in and student clinics.

Maggie Dixon (RGN RHV BA(Hons) LCHE RsHom)

Maggie is the senior practitioner at Homeopathy Direct. She qualified in June 1999 at the Centre for Homeopathic Education (CHE) in London and has been in practice ever since.

Maggie has worked in health care since 1979, originally as a hospital nurse, then a district nurse and latterly as a health visitor. From 1993 onwards Maggie's specialist areas of practice have been in pregnancy, labour and childhood conditions, firstly in the Health Service and continuing following qualification as a Homeopath. She has particular expertise at treating childhood skin complaints.

"From the earliest days as a nurse I recognised that the person was every bit as important as everything else that affected their health. As a Health Visitor it was possible to make the link from the individual to their intimate home environment. Homeopathy not only recognises that the individual plays a dynamic part in a person's well-being but also regards it as the central focus upon which treatment is based".

Maggie has run and supervised the Student Clinic at Homeopathy Direct for the last 6 years. She also lectures at the CHE and the Contemporary College of Homeopathy in Bristol. Maggie is Head of Practitioner Development at the CHE and supervises individual student in their final year of training.

Maggie is passionate about and dedicated to empowering people to take active responsibility for maximising their well-being.
